1. Business and revenue model

Anke LLC develops proprietary consumer software and sells access to it by subscription. There is a single revenue stream: recurring subscription fees paid by end customers. We do not take deposits, we do not hold customer funds, we do not transmit money on behalf of others, and we do not deal in virtual currency as a business.

Subscriptions are sold through three channels: in-app purchase in the Apple App Store, in-app purchase in Google Play, and card payment on our own website through a licensed payment processor. Customers may also hold a prepaid balance with us, which can only be spent on their own subscription and is not transferable or withdrawable.

2. Payment card handling

Anke LLC does not receive, transmit or store primary account numbers. Card data is captured on payment pages hosted by our processors. Our systems hold only a processor-issued token, the card brand and the last four digits, so that a customer can identify their own saved method.

3. Customer identification

Customers are consumers. An account is identified by a numeric code issued by us. We deliberately collect no name, postal address or government identifier, because the service does not require them, which also means we hold very little that could be lost in a breach.

4. Sanctions and export control

We do not knowingly provide the service to persons or entities subject to sanctions applicable to us, or to customers in jurisdictions where doing so is prohibited. Where we become aware that an account falls within such a category, we terminate it. Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits use of the service to evade sanctions.

5. Fraud, disputes and chargebacks

We monitor for duplicate charges, failed entitlement grants and unusual purchase patterns. Customers are asked to contact us before raising a chargeback, and we refund promptly where a charge was ours and wrong. Where a chargeback is raised, we respond to the processor with the full transaction record and suspend the account until it is resolved.

6. Record keeping

Every transaction, plan change, refund and support conversation is recorded and retrievable. Financial records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting rules.

7. Consumer protection practice

Automatic renewal, the renewal amount and the renewal date are disclosed on the purchase screen before payment. Cancellation is available inside the application and requires no contact with support. Our refund policy is published and applied as written.

8. Due diligence contact

Banks, payment processors and partners carrying out due diligence should write to compliance@ankelabs.com. We normally respond within one business day and can provide formation and good-standing documents, tax identification, ownership and control information, processing history, policies and references.
